Civic Grandeur

The Iranshahr Chamber of Commerce presented a rare institutional brief — a large-scale civic dining and gathering space in central Tehran, designed to project the prestige of its organisation while remaining genuinely hospitable. The design centres on a vast, column-articulated dining hall where travertine-clad pillars anchor linear LED ceiling grids and bespoke cylindrical wall sconces cast warm pools of amber light.

A sculptural buffet counter in fluted bronze-toned panels topped with Calacatta marble forms the spatial heart of the room. White lacquered dining tables and upholstered linen chairs extend across the polished stone floor, achieving a balance of formal authority and understated comfort. Material continuity — travertine, marble, warm neutrals — runs through every surface, from the main hall to the washrooms.
